Hamel-LeSage Studio is a small art studio producing church vesture and stained glass. Artists and partners of HLS, Marc Hamel and Ed LeSage, have been handweavers for some twenty years. Both are former Trappist monks who first learned their craft while in the monastery and have been perfecting and addicted to it ever since. The monastery is also where they began their work with vesture design and tailoring.

The Museum of National Antiquities in Stockholm has a textile collection which is unique of its kind, containing both wellpreserved fabrics and embroideries from the Middle Ages and more recent times and prehistoric fragments discovered by archaeologists. Most of these textiles were used in Swedish churches.
