By subscribing to the TechKnit mailing list, you will receive an email message each time someone posts a message to the list. Just check your email as you normally would.
You may instead choose to subscribe to a "digest" version of the list, which means you will receive only one message containing the text of all messages that were posted to the mailing list since the last digest. Digests usually are sent once a day, but sometimes less often. In all other respects you're treated as any other TechKnit subscriber; for example, you would be able to post a message to the mailing list any time of the day.
Before you subscribe to the digest please note: The software that runs TechKnit issues digests as a package of individual email messages. Although some email readers and browsers automatically insert the contents of that package into a single email, others do not. This means you may receive a message listing the contents of the digest, with each message attached as a separate text file. Unfortunately, this is a function of the list software over which I have no control. If you find this is happening with TechKnit Digests, you may wish to change your subscription so that you receive individual messages instead.
