Custom Fit Children's Sweaters

Here it is -- the only children's sweater pattern you'll need!

Custom Fit Children's Sweaters booklets give any handknitter the ability to make beautiful, well-fit sweaters — for any size child and from any yarn. After taking a few simple measurements and making a sample gauge swatch from the yarn and needles chosen, the knitter fills in a worksheet that creates the pattern for that particular sweater. Only simple math is needed to create a custom fit pattern!

The pattern booklet includes neck and sleeve variations, a chart of measurements for child's sizes from infant through size 12, illustrated explanations of necessary stitches and techniques, and tips, tricks and suggestions for sweater knitting — from casting on to joining seams.

Add to Cart Number 1: Waist to Neck Pullover, Seamed  follows the traditional method of knitting sweaters, in four flat pieces (front, back and two sleeves) knit from the bottom up.
